Overview
Jonchery 8 is a carp lake in France that has been created with the same care and attention to detail as its sister lakes on the same complex, Jonchery 7 and Jonchery.
This is a small exclusive lake for 2 to 3 anglers, with one large social swim situated on the centre of one bank. The carp have been hand-picked by the Bacheliers so they're beautifully marked, with a large number over 30lb and a lake record over 61lb. On site you'll find good facilities and food packages on offer.
The difference between this lake and Jonchery 7 (which sits next door), is that Jonchery 7 is more of a runs water, whereas this lake concentrates on larger carp. So, whilst Jonchery 8 certainly isn't a tricky lake, it is probably less of a runs water in comparison.

"We had 20 carp up to 57lb 8oz for the week, which given the weather conditions and late spawning was a good result! Definitely would recommend to anyone as this is a well run venue, everything explained on arrival and left to relax and fish for the week... you can't ask for more!"

"We caught 17 carp, 2 Grass carp and 3 small catfish. 6 x 20lb+, 4 x 30lb+, 38lb Koi, 40lb common, 2 Grass carp @ 50b and 57lb. An enjoyable week after a slow start but started to pickup after 3 days. We had sunny days and frosts at night!"

"Caught 70 fish ranging from 34lb to 25lb, lots of lower teens, one sturgeon plus 8 x catfish (biggest 25lb). This fishery is run right & Mark the bailiff is great. A decent guy who will assist you with anything you need and love a good chat - he knows the lakes inside out and will put you on the fish if you're struggling. Anita, Mark's wife, does a cracking food package and I would highly recommend it!"
