Overview
Ever wondered how you can keep your family happy on holiday and still catch carp? What better way to introduce your partner to carp angling than taking them to a pretty French venue, or perhaps you would like some all action carping with your mates where everyone gets in on the thrills? Vincon ticks all the boxes for up to 6 people and is hired privately for your group.
Arm aching action is the norm here at this beautiful spring fed 12 acre lake. Add to this a lakeside lodge where you can literally fish out of the front door and an idyllic swimming pool.
In terms of the accommodation, the open plan lakeside lodge is included in your booking and has a well-equipped kitchen and living area, as well as 2 single beds. There are also two additional bedrooms you can add onto your booking (one twin, one double) in a separate annex located next to the toilet & shower facilities.
With a week at your disposal you can take break away from the frantic action, chill out and soak up the atmosphere of rural French life.
You will be warmly greeted by the Bouchot family who grow cereal and breed wild boar here. Vincons lies in the very picturesque region of the Cher, taking around a 4hr30 drive from the port of Caen and 5hr30 from Calais. This venue was discovered by us over 20 years ago and it remains a real favourite of many Angling Lines customers.

"Our lake sits at the heart of a family farm, and we’re proud to be the fourth generation of farmers. It was my grandfather Louis who had the lake dug in 1960 - he loved nature, hunting, and fishing! Today, the farm thrives thanks to our diverse activities: producing edible oils, breeding wild boar, growing aromatic plants, and welcoming British carp anglers. We’ve loved meeting new people over the years and hope you enjoy your stay on our farm. We live on site but not overlooking the lake - we’re always available if needed, while giving you the freedom to fully enjoy your vacation. We look forward to welcoming you soon!"
