New improvements at Heart Lake, 18th Jan
New improvements at Heart Lake this January.
We have installed steps up to the main swim from the accommodation. Although the longer grass ramp up to the lake can still be used, these steps give you a shortcut.
We are also installing a larger terrace at the back of the main swim so that there is an area for more guests to sit by the lake.
Finally we created new steps down from the main swim to the water. Although we expect the water level to rise to normal levels over the coming months, it means that you can easily land and release fish even in the summer months.

In order to get to know us better, we will explain who we are as the owners of Heart Lake.
At the edge of the water since my youngest age, I have been able to practice and develop the different types of fishing, carp remaining my favorite fishing. I can therefore help and advise you at Heart Lake if required.
My wife Véronique also fishes for carp and speaks a little English which will allow us to communicate better. We are both present to guide you in fishing as well as to help you discover our beautiful area of France which offers a multitude of family leisure activities.
We therefore look forward to seeing you at the lake!

Netting, 29th Nov
This winter we have done a netting to remove any of the smaller carp under 6kg (13lb). Whilst we did so, we were able to take photos of the bigger carp as we passed them back over the net. I've attached some below.

New Terrace, 28th Nov
As the lake sits higher up than the accommodation at Heart Lake, we thought it would be a good idea to build a larger platform deck, which will create a larger seating area behind swim 1. This is now in progress and will be completed in time for the start of the 2023 season.
