Details of your catches:
Another great week on J7. Only fishing 10am-10pm we had a total of 63 fish and lost 13. Best fish for Dave B was 46lb mirror, Dave P had a 52lb common and my best was a 38lb common. We had a slow start mainly due to the heat of Sat/Sun then it got better as the week went on. A surprise for me was to catch an immaculate 7lb tench. Only 2 grass carp caught this trip and 4 bream. We had a storm mid-week.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
We used mainly D rigs with bottom baits (J7 plum) lots of pellets and hemp/maize. Nothing much from the usual far bank areas and found open water area's produced regularly to showing fish until we found some 'hot' spots.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Our third visit so we knew the facilities were good.
Were you happy with them?
Absolutely.

Details of your catches:
50 fish in total with around 15 lost as well. Fiahed days only 10am to approx 11pm and half way through the week went down to 4 rods between us. 8 x 40 pound fish, all grass carp 17 x 30lb fish with the biggest common going 35lb and mirror 32lb Rest from 10lb mainly commons
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Didnt matter what bait or location other than off the tree line along the length of the lake... used 25kg boilies, 50kg of pellet and 10kg of maize
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes clean and tidy, do the job
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes but be aware of it being very shallow i.e. 2ft most of the lake making it difficult in not picking up lines when playing fish.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes always good
General Comments:
Good runs water, no 40s for us this week mirrors or commons but can't complain, with average of mid to late 20s. Fishing the double peg fish 2 rods each much easier due to depth and fish having no depth to go over the lines.

34 fish of 20lb + 6 fish of 30lb + 2 40lb + Handful of lower double carp 2 bream, 1 tench

Snowman or single Tiger nut with fake corn topper. Fished using Bait boar to far bank. Only fished first light to not long into darkness.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, nice shower and wc. Fridge space for food, freezer for bait. Good charging point for each peg.
Were you happy with them?
We opted for the meal package and had some lovely, tasty meals cooked by Anita and a breakfast baguette that kept you full.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, the venue is brilliant! We fished J7 a runs water that has stacks of fish. Mark is a superb bailiff. Does his best to help you with tactics without being overbearing or intrusive (listen to him, it pays).

I would only use Angling Lines to book a fishing holiday. They are professional and the whole process is made easy by their team. Always happy to help you make changes. All the anglers spoke highly of them also!
