Really good facilities very clean and a good hot shower. Plenty of English sockets for charging all your appliances

Between us we found the start of the week a bit slow but we managed to get into the fish and landed carp up to the mid 50lb mark!

We found that Mehdi's lake bait worked very well for us on the lake - the owner is full of great advise too.

Yes, Laroussi is a beautiful place with mega carp. The owner is also very welcoming and a very nice person.

I would highly recommend to people to book Laroussi, it is a beautiful lake with very well bred carp.

Unfortunately it was yet another unsuccessful week. Hooked and lost 1 fish on the Sunday and the same on the Monday after that no bites for the rest of the week This was our 4th visit to Laroussi over three years and have only caught 5 fish in that time, the largest 35lb

General Comments:

Our visit this time seemed to be greatly affected by 3 thunderstorms and torrential rain. Following them the oxygen level in the lake crashed making the fish very lethargic and not willing to feed or move about. This was verified by some film crew guys who were fishing and filming who had underwater cameras. Our previous visit we believe was affected by the blue dye introduced for weed control being administered that week. Mehdi the owner is a lovely guy, very helpful and his lake is very picturesque with an abundance of wild life. But for us all in all its been a lovely place to camp and fish for a week but after travelling a long way to get there has been extremely frustrating. Perhaps we are jinxed.

Me and my son had 2 x 35lb commons, 37lb 5oz and 39lb mirrors, 21lb and 18lb commons and a 27lb mirror.

Bait boat used for all catches. Far margin from the point swim. All caught on quest raja spice and DT cold water green beast boilies. Loose feed of lake pellets, sweetcorn and tinned chick peas. Pink or yellow hook baits

General Comments:

The owner Medhi was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. If you need extra advice make sure you track him down or phone him on his mobile. We approached him a few times over the week and he was very knowledgeable about best spots and tactics. This is not a runs water so we were always checking/feeding spots. Rest an area you have been fishing then go back to it. We had good rewards by doing this. It would’ve been nice to see some of the bigger residents. The heat and north easterly wind had an effect on catch rate. We would go back.
