The winning formula on every lake.....Mainline Cell critically balanced with a yellow pineapple pop up also double pop up sweetcorn over beds of party mix and pellet.

Great as usually. Medhi is quite easily one of the kindest and most genuine human beings I've met.

General Comments:

Overall a difficult week due to soaring temperstures, high pressure and very little wind. Fishing was slow with 3 of our party blanking including me. I moved pegs halfway through the week but still no runs. That said 3 of us did ok with 3 huge Grass Carp coming out. The pictures do not do these fish justice, they are huge. The fight of the week though came from a mid 20s common....20 minutes in the early hours. Andy G had the Point and as ever never gave up deserving himself top spot for the trip. Mick as usually sat quietly with a fag on zero then went to hero in a second with the fish of the week. 60lb Grass Carp. Wildlife was just amazing with Golden Orioles calling through the day, Hobbies hunting at Dusk and Nightingales singing at night. A fantastic holiday and a wonderful atmosphere around the lake which was helped by our new friend Dave and his lovely wife on Peg 7. A real team effort which was helped by Medhi pointing with precision every spot. One of the best holidays Ive had.

Group of 7, with 21 fish banked from every swim.

White pop up, over small to medium beds of bait, and scattered bollies did ok as well when fished to open water

The facilities where absolutely fine, shower and toilet clean, fridge and freezer well big enough

General Comments:

Have to say Medhi the owner was absolutely brilliant, greated us first day, if we needed anything we just asked and he would be there, apart from that left us alone to get on with it. The venue swims where clean and tidy well set out, so as not tripping over each other, and water is clear so all in all great place and I will be looking to book again.

First day there fish started spawning so fishing very poor ended up with 3 fish for the week, 4 of the party blanked

Long range under trees using boilies with pop ups

Great week, fishing could have been better, Mehdi is a good host will definitely go back

Details of your catches:

The Point, 19 fish caught biggest being 54lb mirror followed up by 50lb grass. He also had forties and thirties to back that up. The 54 mirror was his PB so in all had a fantastic week. We fished on Cheyenne all 3 of us and only had 4 fish between us with a 54 grass and 36 Common the best two caught.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Defo small beds of bait and defo use sweetcorn did nothing with Boiles even on the Point.

Yes but asked Medhi to move freezer out of toilet when we go again as one of the Anglers is in a wheelchair needs good access
