General Comments:

Another successful trip to laroussi this year that has been positive, the fresh facilities and fishing where spot on. This is our 6th trip and it gets better each time, it's not an easy water but find the spots, adapt tactics to the situation and you will be successful. I find the gravel areas around the margins produced well and features in open water work well if you have a boat.

General Comments:

Fast and furious action! When I get to the lake, conditions were perfect to catch: strong South wind, cloud/showers, low pressure. Fish showing everywhere! I set up on peg1 and decided to fish directly on showing fish. Within 15min I was playing my first carp! I caught commons and some pretty scaley mirrors up to 51lb.  Happy days!

With the temperature 36c when we arrived and it increasing to 40c in the week we were really up against it from day one. All anglers caught a mix of carp and cats - biggest was only a mid twenty. Fish of the week was an 8lb Tench. We did see some absolute units.

Wafters, Snowman and bottom baits. We used the lake baits - Option C package

Yes

Yes. Nice shower with plenty of room for changing. Big fridge and freezer.

Yes - but if I went again, I'd certainly choose the cooler months.

General Comments:

We had already travelled with the mind set of 'you could be fishing for one big fish during the week' so not too disappointed with the weeks result, especially in roasting conditions. It is a beautiful lake, though it is quite snaggy around the margins. Medhi is a really nice chap and offered advice on spots to fish when asked.
