Details of your catches:

I fished in l'anse started off the week on the first morning with a 39lb mirror then struggled with the grass carp, catching 15/20 grass carp throughout the week. Then on Friday had a 37lb common and a 41lbmirror. Plus 5 small common ranging from 15lb to 20lb. John fished la plage, caught one small common and a grass carp and then on Friday caught a 52lb mirror. Dave fished le bouleau and caught 20 or so grass carp to 47lb but no commons or mirrors.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Most carp were caught on silty spots just beyond the gravel

Facilities were absolutely spot on!!! and Mehdi the owner is superb, very knowledgable and extremely friendly!

General Comments:

The fishing was hard, it was the hottest week of the year so far and this showed with the amount of grass carp feeding!! When the weather changed on friday we started catching a few bigger ones! Matt who fished in between us hooked on of the giant catfish at 11:30pm on the friday and after a epic 4 hour fight lost the fish snapping his line still with over a 100yards of line out!! Would love to see somebody go for and land this monster will definitley be giving it a go next year!!

Details of your catches:

I lost count. 2 Sturgeon to 60lb. Several Grass carp between 20lb and 47lb. A Crucian carp at 6.3lb. A handful of mirror carp and commons upto mid forties, including a new PB Mirror for myself at 28lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We had a few lads fishing with Mehdi's parti-blend, which was very good for the larger Grass Carp, using fake baits on the hair (pop up sweetcorn etc). Boilies over crumb did well for some of the larger fish. I had my takes fishing flouro pop ups, over beds of good quality boilies (Mix of Cell and Pineapple)

Yes - Simple but well kept. Great shower, toilet, fridge and chest freezer.

Difficult week hot and little wind water flat. fihed with a good friend ha had a blank, so did the corner swimm. I had 3 fish 44, 58 Mirror and 59.12 Sturgeon

Snowman rigs, lot of bait going in so do not over bait little goes a long way

Ok shower not very clean could do with a refit.

Owner a super chap always got a smile and time for you. good freezer and fridge sink to wash up in.

Laroussi is not a easy water but can produce a big fish ,it is hard fished all year.

Yes, Angling line is a good group to use.

Plenty of fish caught, best were a 42 a 43 and a 45. Proper fishing, they don't jump in your net, work hard and the rewards are there.

A good bait on the bottom usually works ha ha

They were great. I couldn't believe how well the bathroom door fitted

A great venue, Mehdi is a legend top bloke, caught some cracking fish had a great time.
