General Comments:

I saw that there was going to be a mild spell during the week and a small amount of rain so decided to give Laroussi a go for the first time. Did see the odd fish move but not much interest over the week. Caught 4 jack pike to 5lbs during the day. Caught the carp on the last day, so that means i caught the last carp from old oaks and laroussi in 2012. I'll be back next year for sure.

No fish caught. Only saw 2 fish all week which is unusual but weather wise there was a sudden temperature drop and it went to -6 at night so that pretty much shut the lake down.

Fishing at this time of year is always a lottery with the weather. I was at Old oaks a week earlier before the weather change and caught a few there.

Mehdi is a great guy, I love the lake and the fact that he leaves you to get on with it. Fishing at this time of year is always a lottery with the weather

no rat problem when i was there,enjoyable week even tho no fish it happens sometimes,week before old oaks was good to me
