Lillybelle Fish
Originally used as a private weekend getaway for carp fishing, the original stock levels remain unknown. It was bought by owners of Lillypool in 2011 and then stocked in 2013 with 120 carp to mid thirties.
In January 2015, 10 new faces arrived at Lillybelle from the well respected Vasseur fish farm, all between 32 and 40lb. Another couple were stocked in 2017, 20 more carp in the February of 2017 and finally a further 13 carp in 2018.
The lake record carp now sits at over 57lb.
There are also a couple of catfish around 50lb. Other species already in the lake include roach, rudd, pike, zander, bream, sun fish & eels. There are no poisson chat. We have seen some crayfish in the lake but these have not caused issues for any of our anglers.
