Facilities Lodge
This lodge is designed primarily with anglers in mind. It's a simple, no-frills base offering a full kitchen, dining area, compact bedroom, toilet and shower. It features mains water, electricity and charging points for your devices.
The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster and essential cookware, plates, glasses and cutlery etc. There's a dining table here and small English freeview TV too.
The simple bedroom is functional with a wardrobe and twin bunk beds, but certainly compact and basic. Please note; you’ll need to bring your own bedding and pillows if you wish to use the sleeping facilities.
Directly outside the lodge is a covered veranda with table, chairs and BBQ, shaded by weeping willows. You can park your car next to the lodge for the week. It is not possible to sleep in the lodge whilst your rods are out.
Island Shelter
Over at the island, accessed by a footbridge just in front of the lodge, you’ll find a further large shelter complete with a BBQ and picnic table - perfect for gathering and sharing a meal while enjoying the fishing. There are also more electric points here for charging items.
The lake provides Carp Cradles, which must be used, and you will need to bring your own nets and weigh slings.
Local Area
For any additional supplies, local shops are only a 3-minute drive away and a large supermarket is just 10 minutes down the road, ensuring you have everything you need within easy reach.
