Just to let you all know that we have ordered 23 x 20lb+ fish to be stocked. Hopefully we will hear very soon re a stocking date and we'll report it here once we know.

Browsing YouTube we came across this video of Steve Pickering's October 2010 Villefond session. Steve had a great session landing 20 carp including 3 x 40lb+ and 16 x 30lb+

50lb Common graces the banks!, 1st Oct
Here are the pictures of one of the big commons in the lake, at a whopping 50lb!
The fish was part of a monster hall including 40's and loads of thirties.

Record catches and 4 x 40lb'ers in one session, 1st Oct
Lac Du Villefond’s latest catch reports speak for themselves with the average weight of the fish around 37lb and very rare for any fish to come out below 30lb. Furthermore, some fish which have never been caught before are coming out too, along with the old ones at record weights.
The latest tally for just one angler for 6 nights was 17 fish with the smallest 32.21b and four x 40lb+
This included a massive 47.08 common and a massive 43.10 mirror!
