Nice lake, helpful and friendly owners. Tough weather conditions for the week but made the best of what we had would definitely return again

5 fish, 15lb...29lb...33lb...35lb..37lb..all mirrors except for the 15.

We used small baits (sweetcorn and boile chops) over, firstly, particle, but changed to just hemp when we decided the fish weren't really feeding heavily.

Facilities were all good with no complaints.

General Comments:

Villefond is a tricky venue and with high pressure and low water levels, we were always going to find it difficult. The fish weren't really feeding that strongly during the week, so we were happy with the ones we managed to trick. Huge thanks to owners, John and Debbie for their help with charging batteries etc. and to Mark for his insights into the rigs that he uses (and which we used to catch some of the fish) on this lovely but tricky lake. Probably one of the most peaceful venues I have ever visited...we'll be back to catch the bigger ones that reside there asap!
