Darrell Peck was out at the lake filming for CarpFix TV this April, we can't wait to see the film!

New Lake Record!, 13th Mar

Today I had the joy of being notified by text early this afternoon by Gregor, fishing swim 5, that he had just captured a huge fish. I went to the spot for the occasion, and after properly balancing the bag, the scales came to stop at just over 70lb.

So that's a new record for Fullys Lake with this big common continuing to grow, and not to get ahead of myself too much, if someone takes it in a few weeks before spawning it might make the scales tremble even further again!

Congratulations to Gregor who less than 24 hours after settling in was already at 4 fish averaging over 30lb.

The new record was caught using a small orange popup cut with scissors, topped with maggots and half fake maize.

Winter Update, 9th Feb

Been a while since we’ve posted, quite busy lately, getting ready for the start of the new season. Water level works complete, we put quite a bit of gravel in the path around the lake to avoid mess and ruts.

A little more clean up to pick up and remove the branches that fell from the wind, then interior of the lodge and electrical installation in this one and we will be up and running for this beautiful 2023 season ahead!
