A good weeks fishing with 35 fish caught, 4no 40lb up to 44, 6no, 30's, mixture of commons and mirrors all good looking fish

Bottom baits, boil lies over a bed of pellet, chocolate malt and CC more.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Superb lakes leading to Jonchery 7, excellent size swim. facilities building excellent in size and amenities.

Were you happy with them?

Everything you wanted, good shower, heating left on in the cold conditions we encountered.

Recommend others to try out this good fishing facilities.

Been going with angling lines for some years and always had a good trip.

General Comments:

Another good trip with 35 fish even in the changing conditions of three freezing nights mid week.

Details of your catches:

Myself caught 8 fish, ranging from high double and the largest being 38lbs. My friend caught 6 fish, range from mid double to 43.8lbs.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Well, not catching many fish its hard to tell. All fish fell to boilie (quest baits) ranging from 10mm-20mm combinations.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yeah everything was spot on, clean and tidy.

Yeah.

I would but to go in the warmer months.

General Comments:

Paul the bailiff was a nice friendly chap, always checking that things were ok and if we needed anything just to ask. Fantastic lake and beautiful looking fish but on this trip we got the timing wrong! Weather was cold and the fish weren't feeding. Found it very hard going. Thank you, maybe one day i'll be back on the bank.

We had 35 fish between us, 2x45 9x30 to 38 the rest 20s, all caught on boillie and pellet caught from all around the lake if we would of had a bit better weather i think we would have caught more.

some lovely looking fish and the small ones fight really hard would love to come back next year.
