A tough week and all 5 anglers on the lake had to work hard to find the fish and be patient for bites. Not a runs water but a lovely setting and very rewarding when you put the hard work in.

Find your spots on day one and fish them for the week, small beds of boilies and pellet produced our bites

This is our third visit to Laroussi and have recommended the venue numerous times

We have used Angling Lines for as long as I can remember, they are always extremely helpful and assist in arranging the perfect French adventures!

General Comments:

The lake has been fishing tough of late, with high pressure, torrential rain (4 inches in 24 hours) warm days and cold nights (5 degrees and under) we were always going to be up against it but still managed 12 fish and memorable captures. Medhi as always is the nicest owner you will have the pleasure of meeting, he is extremely helpful and always on hand for any advice you may need. Laroussi itself is a stunning, picturesque lake that holds a vast array of lovely carp you would be happy to catch from any lake in the world but it is not a runs water by any means, the fishing is difficult but the rewards are there. Find your spots on day one, sit on your hands, bait little and often and you will catch, more than half of our captures were from baits that had been in the water for over 36 hours, fish were also caught from all areas of the lake. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Laroussi!
