Mehdi the owner and his wife were lovely. Really nice people. We had the food package which was a good standard. We were told there was 400 carp in there but we put the drone up each day (very hot 27 degree days) and only ever saw a maximum of 60-70 carp so not sure the stock levels are what they say as we were scratching for bites during the week when the fish were meant to be getting their heads down to feed pre-spawning. We are a competent group of anglers. The fish started to spawn on Wednesday and no more fish were caught. A frustrating week but a beautiful lake and the fish that were caught were in immaculate condition.

Angling Lines were good with comms and information provided.

General Comments:

I’d like to see more about Laroussi on social media/ facebook page to show captures as when you go through the Angling lines website, there doesn’t seem to be much caught either.

2 x 11lb tench. 11 x carp from 21lb to 62lb. 8 x grass carp from 40lb to 58lb 10oz. 2 catfish small. 44.4 common, 30lb common, 23lb linear and a 39lb mirror.

Worms with lots of Mehdi's pellets and conditioner

General Comments:

We had a lovely productive fishing trip at an excellent venue... mature and peaceful, with some stunning fish in it. Lots of features to go at. Medhi and his wife and family work hard, and are very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the lake and setting.

Only 1 Tench of over 11 pounds between the 3 of us Only 1 other 31 pound common during the week for another group

Yes Large Fridge and Freezer Double sink for washing up Shower water always warm enough

Basic but enough for Drive and Survive. Toilet blocked one morning but suspect caused by using other than loo roll!

General Comments:

It was a very tough week high pressure and with cold almost frosty nights bitter winds and showers. We had been before in November so knew it would not be easy.(had 1 fish of 71 pound 12oz on that occasion) Mehdi was as usual helpful with information about the swims and spots to try and this time showed us a winter/cold weather tactic that had caught fish, when all else failed, last winter
