New Arrivals For 2020, 14th Dec

The final stocking in our 5 year plan for Lillybelle. With the fish removed in the netting, we decided on 16 new arrivals from 30 to 45lb and 2 very pretty low 20's that I just couldn't resist. I had to pull a lot of strings to be the first to get fish this year giving us the largest choice, thus 9 of these arrivals are commons in response to many guest's feedback.

Netting and Stock Management, 19th Nov

We have completed our bi-annual netting and stock management on Lillybelle. The main purpose to prepare for this year's new arrivals.

This year's netting proved to be very challenging as we made the decision not to drain any water from the lake. Despite the difficulties in completing the netting, we still managed to get plenty of the fish in the net and removed all fish under 20lb, including carp and many adult bream.

Other highlights included weighing our lake record fish at an all time high of 51lb 6oz.
