in what saw terrible weather conditions all week well done for sticking with it and well done on the stunning capture

OPENING WEEK, 24th Mar

The start of the season for 2012 saw Llillypool open its gates on the 24 march to Huw Rees and his girlfriend holy.

I thought things might have started of slowly being early season, but didn’t need to worry as Holy had 7 fish on the saturday night, including a new pb mirror over 28lb.

When i saw them on wednesday they were catching steadily. Saturday arrived all to soon but they had reached 25 fish in total including another pb for Holly in the shape of a 46.5lb mirror and a new pb common for Huw at 31lb plus. They went home happy bunnies.

Yesterday saw the return of Andy and Mark with a new mate Sean. I jokingly said they would have to go some this time of year to beat their record of 85 fish in a week.

Having just had a text of Andy you never know, they had 17 fish out in the first night, not bad for the end of march

NEW LILLYPOOL RECORD, 24th Mar

New Ladies record set at Lillypool and was set on the opening week of the season. (WHAT A WEEK IT WAS).

It saw Holly Megraw bank a 28lb PB mirror followed by a new Lillypool record for the girls a 46lb 8 mirror and the end of the week saw Huw Rees bank a PB common of 31lb.

Well done!!!

2 x 30lb+ Cats Stocked, 22nd Mar

Lillypool took delivery of 2 mid-30lb cats on the 21st March 2012 from the Bigot Fish Farm. These cats will complement the already amazing fish stocks at Lillypool and have the added advantage of keeping the small fry under control.
