Old Oaks Facilities
There are good angler facilities in a wooden chalet next to the lake, this is connected to the mains water supply, making the water safe to drink.
Inside the wooden chalet you will find;
- washing facilities, including a sink and a high tap to fill up your drinking water bottles
- a work surface with plugs for the batteries, baitboats, mobile phone etc (please bring your own adaptors)
- a hot shower and wash basin
- an English style toilet
- 2 large Lieberr fridges for your food
- a freezer for your bait
- outside plug for your electric barbecue
There is a picnic area in front of the facilities which include a barbecue and a wooden picnic table. There are no cooking facilities inside the cabin. You need either to cook on the bank or use the BBQ outside.
There is 4G signal at the lake, although of course it depends on individual providers.
Tackle Hire
There are 2 quality baitboats available for hire.
The cost is 100€ per week (plus deposit of 100€) for the smaller of the two
The cost is 120€ per week (plus deposit of 100€) for the larger baitboat with a much bigger bait capacity
It is necessary to reserve them in advance. To do so please contact the owner, Mehdi, direct. His email address & phone number can be found on the 'Info Pack' in your Customer Area once your holiday is booked. Mehdi is French but speaks good English, so providing you speak slowly & clearly you'll have no problems.
Please pay for the baitboat hire in Euros when you arrive.
