Details of your catches:

20 fish between us, 3 x 50s, loads of upper 40s and 30s we had fish from every peg.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fished pop ups as we was aware of the chat from a previous trip but to be fair only had 4 chat between us we even stopped wrapping them in the end as we wasn’t getting bothered by them. Just keep them fruity and you should be fine, be prepared to keep moving round the lake. Bites come fast but also die off very quick, if you're in the right spots rods will rip off straight away literally b4 u even have time to put them down.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Everything you need.

Were you happy with them?

Yes.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Details of your catches:

Swim 1 - 1 Mirror 50.04 Swim 3 - 16 Mirrors to 52.08, 2 Commons to 38.00, 2 Grass to 27.08, 1 Tench 7.00 & 1 Coypu (weight unknown) Swim 4 - 1 Mirror 31.00 & 1 Common 38.00 Swim 5 - 4 Mirrors to 47.00

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Rebaiting little and often. The poisson chat will eat all of your bait so keep introducing it. The far margin did 70% of the bites but we picked up fish 3/4's of the way across between swim 1 & 3. If you wrap your baits then you can fish comfortably in the knowledge that you're fishing.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes - this is our third trip.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, always clean. Freezer and fridge are large and very cold and the shower is strong and hot.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Absolutely. The average size of the fish is fantastic, Mehdi is there if you need anything but gives you space to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes

Details of your catches:

5 fishing. 40 fish in total = 1625lb + a bream. Swim 1, 11 fish = 38,10 pb- 30,8 - 32 - 38,8 - 37 - 38 - 47,8 pb - 37 common - 43 - 40,4 - 46. All mirrors apart from the common + 1 bream. Swim 2, 10 fish = 44,12 pb - 42,8 - 43,8 - 39,8 - 50,8 pb - 52,8 pb - 43,8 - 40 - 35 - 53.9 pb all mirrors. Swim 3, 5 fish = 36,8 pb - 44,8 pb - 37,10 - 37 - 44,4 all mirrors. Swim 4, 3 fish = 43,1 pb - 35, 42,8 all mirrors. Swim 5, 11 fish = grassy 22,8 pb - 50,8 pb - grassy 28,2 pb - 42 - grassy 19,8 - 47,4 - 38,5 - grassy 28,8 pb - 50,2 - 51,2 pb - 49,12 mirrors + 4 grass carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Lots of different rigs tried, all worked well if presented well. Snowman bottom baits worked really well as long as it was wrapped or plastic. The carp seem to have there favourite spots and if you didn’t drop rig right on it we didn’t get bites. Far bank as everyone else says. I would recommend buying the particle from Mehdi as it kept carp in spots or brought them back on the spots. This water is amazing as long as you don’t think you can cast a rod then sit on your hands. Keep baiting little but often and recast/baitboat fairly often. Only really had two carp at night from swim four the rest were all early hours from 6am ish to 8pm ish. Slayer baits, mainline and Karl in swim 4 makes his own which also caught fish in swim 1 when richy ran out lol.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Perfect for a fishing holiday, this is not a 5 star holiday so don’t moan when there is no toilet paper. Shower every day was a dream plus everything else you need, freezer, fridge etc.

Were you happy with them?

Yes absolutely fine.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

100% yes, looking to book again asap.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes definitely

General Comments:

Mehdi is a sound guy and will answer any questions you have and help out in any way he can. Poisson Chat to us were not a problem, only 5 caught and 1 pulled in on a lost rig from someone else. Wrap the baits or use plastic and you might get a couple of beeps but then they leave it alone. Next door pond can be noisy but I think we made as much noise when we caught the pbs lol, so not an issue for me personally.
