General Comments:

A great venue, the average size of fish in this lake is unbelievable! Mehdi has worked all through the winter to trap the poisson chat and has removed over 350kgs so far! The pegs have been barked out and the facilities are all working well. Great to see the fox common again 10 years after we last caught it!

19 carp in total and 1 pike that fancied an Orange pop up. 1x50 to 55lb 8x40s to 47lb 7x30s to 39lb 3x20s to 29lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Sticky baits-manilla bottom bait over crushed boillie and corn. Sex balls-Pcorn popup over crushed boillies and corn. All fished bait boats in the day and pva mesh on the recast in the dark to the far bank. DO NOT pile the bait in, we used about 5kg each in the week. Listen to Medi the owner, he knows his lakes inside out.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Exactly as expected, very clean and everything works well. Nice hot shower, huge chest freezer for bait and big fridge for food. Double sink, lots of uk and euro sockets for charging. Outside table and large brick BBQ. Excellent phone service 4g mobile data all week.

100% the lake, facilities, location and owner are 10/10.

General Comments:

Wouldnt want to spend our money in france anywhere else. Excellent location, 2hours from caen, 5 mins from super market and 20 mins from le mans 24hr track but you wouldnt know it as the lake is in total countryside away from any busy roads and surrounded by trees.

General Comments:

Medhi was literally the nicest person! After 4 days on Laroussi and nothing on the bank or really showing (to be expected beginning of january) Medhi kindly allowed me and my dad to move over to old oaks for the last few days.. On the first night i landed a 37lb 08oz and 38lb 02oz and my dad had two at 39lb on the nose . Second night i had the 52lb 04oz and the last night i had a 37lb. Once again thankyou very much Mehdi for allowing us to move, really did make the trip!

12 fish 2x 50s 4 x40s. Most fish came from pegs 3, 4, 5. The Fox common went 57half lb in lovely condition. And a 56 mirror. 4 anglers

Tactics varied single hookbaits worked in one swim with a few scattered. Where as Baitboat worked in other with quite a bit of bait in boat. All fished to far margin. Baits that did Manila and cell
