Medhi is a great chap, very friendly, leaves you alone to fish but is only across the road if you need him

Unfortunately the fish were spawning as the weather was very hot and humid. I caught 7 fish to 55lb and lost one.

Small patches of bait to far margin.

A very tough weeks fishing in unfavourable conditions. The lake has been kind to me in the past so you have to take the rough with the smooth.

The fish was in mint condition. The venue was clean and tidy everyone brook the pb more than once we will defiantly be back.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing tight to the far bank in about 5 foot of water., all bait used was boilies from urban bait, DNA baits and mainline.

Yes the only thing is the cabin is a bit far from peg 3/4/5 but the facilities was clean and tidy nice big fridge and freezer.

Fishing tight to far margin and at bottom of slope, bait was Nuts and Banana Nuts from Mad Baits, avoiding fish based as advised because of poisson chat

General Comments:

Week started very slow as previous week, we didnt get a sniff till Tuesday, fish avoid pressure very quickly, too close to spawning time I think. Weather issues as usual but if you spread out and go with the fish the rewards are incredible. All our party caught and pb's broken, Average Carp Weight was over 41lb
