I had 21 fish as follows: 28.5lb grass, mirrors - 33lb, 32.5lb, 16lb, 26.75lb, 32.25lb, 34lb, 27lb, 28.5lb, 34.5lb, 38lb, 29lb, 28.5lb, 28.5lb, 38.5lb, 29lb, 33.5lb, 26.5lb, 28.5lb, Commons 38lb, 13lb. So thats 21 fish in total, over 600lb, avg just under 30lb

Various boilies, fake corn over partiblend, not much feed, hardly used any blend and maybe 10 boilies per cast (or should i say trip on the boat, thanks Steve!!)

General Comments:

First time in France and it blew my socks off, 21 fish with a near avg of 30lb was amazing, my PB before this was 12lb so i was gobsmacked, over the moon! Can't wait to get back there (in fact i'm woking on the missus already). Mehdi was a great guy, was just over the road if you needed him night or day and he obviously loves his work, this fish were in great condition, he just left us to it. Nice little town called Spay just up the road, bar and restaurant, supermarket etc, spot on. Two lads fished peg 3 same week, one had the lake record @ 47lb and the other had a trio of 40's. I am definately coming back for that 40 !! Just a small reality check, it wasn't all perfect, my mate fished peg 5 and blanked, i haven't took the p, honest :-)

51 fish in total, 29 x 30's, 21 x 20's & 1 x 10. Barry - 21 fish 13 x 30's to 39lb 5oz. New PB's Mirror 39lb 5oz and Common 38lb 6oz Ian - 7 fish 4 x 30's to 38lb 10oz new PB mirror Kevin - 14 fish 7 x 30's to 36lb 14oz new PB common John - 9 fish 5 x 30's to 38lb 12oz (on his birthday!!!)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing to the far margin about 3 feet for the bank on the shelf, under trees and bushes. Have a walk round there and you'll see the fish there. Fruity baits worked best - Trifle, Squid and Cranberry and fruity crab all topped with fake corn over a bed of pellet and chops

General Comments:

A fantasic venue, lodge has good facilities and nice and tidy. A few of the swims need a bit of work to them and the wildlife needs to be controlled, but overall a brilliant venue which we hope to book again next year. Medhi is a brilliant guy who is always at hand if you need him. Generally a really nice venue
