The week included 4 x 50s, 8 x 40s, 9 x 30s and 1 x 10. Average weight 41.8lb.

Another dream week!, 11th Oct

Richard and Samuel are regulars on the bank of Old Oaks. They have already caught many big fish in the last few years. They came back on the 10th of october 2015 and guess what? They had another successfull week.

Together, they landed 31 fish:

16 forties, 7 fifties, 7 thirties and one twenty grass carp.

49lb 8oz common, 44lb 4oz mirror, 43lb 2oz mirror, 34lb 6oz mirror, 41lb 2oz mirror, 35lb 4oz mirror, 55lb 12oz mirror, 35lb 8oz mirror, 38lb 8oz mirror, 45lb 4oz mirror, 38lb 4oz mirror, 45lb 8oz mirror, 38lb 8oz mirror, 53lb 0oz mirror, 40lb 8oz mirror, 56lb 0oz mirror, 41lb 12oz mirror, 43lb 0oz mirror, 49lb 4oz mirror, 42lb 8oz mirror, 43lb 4oz mirror, 50lb 4oz mirror, 51lb 8oz mirror, 46lb 8oz mirror, 45lb 4oz mirror, 42lb 12oz mirror, 56lb mirror, 46lb 4oz mirror, 39lb 12oz mirror, 50lb8oz and a 26lb4oz grass carp

One more awesome point: Richard caught all 7 fifties! I believe that's a record at Old Oaks.

The 'Edges' DVD is out!, 28th Sep

This April Old Oaks welcomed FOX international for a week to film their hugely popular ‘Edges’ DVD.

Lewis Porter, Harry Charrington and Scott Day were not disappointed with some absolutely stunning fish on the bank including an incredible 53lb 13oz common.
