Pineapple crush topped with sweetcorn from the middle of the lake caught most, margins didn't produce many. Lost lots of fish

General Comments:

Fishing was slow due to weather but picked up towards the end of the week. Medhi was a really nice guy. Lake on the far side was very noisy at times

none as the fishing was terrible fish basking all day and at night lucky to get a bite if you did was from chat.5 experience fisherman and with 15 rods out only 5 runs all week with 4 fish caught, my option over fished but peg 5 best peg one worst

no the light didnt reach the toilet so you need to leave the door open the shower was broken you needed to kiss the wall to get wet

General Comments:

peg 5 defo the best with fetures all around peg one terrible nothing to hit but sand banks.. peg one nobites all week peg 2 two runs one fish caught peg 3 one run peg 4 no runs peg 5, 2 runs one being the lake record. . fish stock 2 cat fish 5 bream and supposed to be 150 carp.

General Comments:

Very fighting fish, excellent average, Brilliant fishing, will be back again.

Details of your catches:

We had 13 fish between us,the biggest mirror my son Sam caught weighed 48lb 4oz.It was our second time on old oaks and although the fishing was harder than last year we really enjoyed our time once again.I have read some negative comments left by a previous angler and must say they are very petty.Yes the door to the cabin is a bit wonky and the shower had a diy repair job done on it but it did`nt make any difference to us.The fascilities are more than adequate and the fish are great.

We found the baitboat very usefull with hemp and boilies.The poisson chat were`nt active so we got away with boilies most of the time,plastic corn if the chats were munching.
