General Comments:

A great relaxing week. Lake switched off for second half of week. All fish were very healthy and hard fighting. Venue reccommended. Best wishes to Mehdi and family.

hard weeks fishing due to extreme heat. Will be returning!!

We caught 35 carp the best was a 48lb mirror, this also included a 30lb common which was a stunner.

General Comments:

the light in the cabin was totally inadequate we had to use a torch at night. The front door was difficult to close. The toilet didn't work without turning the water on. The shower was held up by wire. The mirrow over the sink was just held in place. In my opinion the cabin is usable but dangerous. **** Comment from the owner Mehdi **** Thank you for bringing these matters to my attention. I hope they didn't spoil the excellent fishing you experienced too much.

General Comments:

We got off to a flyer on first day banking 6 of our fish(think they were competing with the le mans 24hr that was on and could be heard at the time. Rain then set in for 4 days solid and fishing really slowed up but our patience was rewarded on our last full day(fri) we managed to bank the 51lb common. What a really nice end of a very enjoyable weeks fishing. As with all feedback that you read about Old Oaks i must also say that mehdi is a great host. On mehdi can we both just pass our good wishes onto him and his family at this time, wishing them, Best Wishes and hope all is well again very soon.
