So myself and my Dad fished Old Oaks for 7 nights landing a total of 5 carp, I managed 42lbs mirror, 43lbs mirror and a monster 61.5lbs. My Dad managed 41lbs mirror and a 51lbs, hard fishing but well worth it

The owner Mehdi is an amazing person, I asked loads of questions and got back loads of answers, he really knows his stuff, don't be afraid to ask

Fishing the far bank in about 5 fog water using yellow waffter with corn stop

Mehdi is a great host with a lot of knowledge of fishing if in doubt ask him

Tried everything wafter with top in corn caught the mirror

New shower is great and new fridge large freezer and everything you need all English sockets

General Comments:

Very hot week 36 degrees most days, hard but that’s fishing. Worked extra hard for the one fish then on the sat weather turned. Storms and rain and overcast ideal for next party. So I booked 3 days on Mehdis other lake laurrousi and very active got a day left but had a nice upper 20 common. And hooked the big cat twice, wish I had full week here. But that was off the cuff anyway Angling lines sorted everything as usual that’s why I always book, they cater for my odd durations which are normally outside sat to sat.

Only two fish. Fish on verge of spawning late.

Yep. Could have done with some toilet paper upon arrival though!!!
